this is how i made my game:
the first thing is that i wanted the game to be complete
so the first problem i faced was the main menu
( making the main menu ) :
i had to make the main menu and the intro to the story
to let the player know what's happening
so instead of making 2 different scenes i made the intro to the story that transitions to the main menu
with a beautiful calm background instead of just colors
the second problem :
( making the player know the controls) :
i needed a creative way of telling the controls to the player
in the story the protagonist is a new hunter who doesn't know anything about hunting.
so he meets a hunter and the hunter tells him the way of how hunting works( which is the controls of the game).
the third problem
the element of surprise :
*don't read this unless you have finished my game*
the player keeps looking for the boss .
trying hard to prevent him.
until he has to kill a lot of people to find the boss.
only to find out that he is the boss.
fourth problem :
feelings :
i had to make the player attached to the story
feeling every emotion
so i used music according to the mood of people in the world.
the final problem :
the game felt somehow inactive
it needs somethins
and it was my first time focusing on sound effects
i used a lot with music
and this made my game finally a complete game
